Robert Noyce, the co-creator of the Fairchild Semiconductor in 1957 and Intel in 1968 and driving force behind Silicon Valley, has become the latest famous figure to be honored by Google.
He also created with the invention of the integrated circuit or microchip which fueled the personal computer revolution and gave Silicon Valley its name.
The image of search engine's Doodle design celebrates the 84th Birthday of Noyce with a chic electronic chip on its homepage.
